This collaborative work produced high-level recommendations for the HPC ecosystem and fostered European synergies for example through the creation of a roadmap of HPC applications and usages in the Exascale and Big Data era or the mapping the European FET HPC projects’ results to enhance their takeover.
EXDCI-2 has also put an emphasis on disseminating at large scale the voice and results of the European HPC ecosystems. This came through its participation to numerous international events such as the Super Computing conference series, the BDEC-2 meetings and the EuroHPC Summit Weeks.
