Again this year, EXDCI-2 will co-organise a Birds-of-a-Feather session with  ETP4HPC titled “Sisyphus’ work: adapting applications to new HPC architectures - a European perspective”  in November at the Supercomputing Conference 2019 (SC19) taking place in Denver, CO, USA. The aim of this session is to address the Sisyphean task that is adapting applications for the next generation HPC systems to the ever-changing heterogeneous architectures.

This session will bring together speakers and panelists from Europe and overseas to discuss the approaches currently being pursued in Europe and world-wide and analyse how the various architectures types can facilitate sustainable application development.
